Caledonia Scaffolding was engaged by PCM Group to design, engineer and build a scaffold to allow access for works to be completed on Hillary’s Lighthouse in WA. The Layher Allround system was used to create this high access solution for the maintenance work. This involved blasting, painting and fabrication repairs to the lighthouse.
We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced scaffolders for an upcoming shutdown at Olympic Dam, SA. The shutdown will run from 21/08/17 – 11/10/17 with pre and post shut opportunities. The total shutdown will run for 51 days on a 13 day on 1 day off roster. Pre-Shut starting in June and Post shut ending December 17. Point of hire is Adelaide.

Caledonia scaffolding in Western Australia were recently asked to supply and install an unusual scaffold platform and landing on a landmark building located in the heart of Perth CBD. The design was to enable a group of 300 keen adventurers to take on the “Central Park Plunge” a unique opportunity to abseil 220m from the roof of Perth’s tallest building.

Ranger Mine – Jabiru, NT
Caledonia is pleased to announce that it has recently been awarded a two year contract by Energy Resources Australia providing scaffolding and rigging maintenance services at its Rio Tinto Ranger mine, located at Jabiru, NT in the heart of the Kakadu National Park.
As the final stages of construction approach, it’s hard to believe that close to nine years ago, the journey of the new Royal Adelaide Hospital began. Taking occupation of the site in June 2011, the first of the site amenities was established and the team cleared the remnants of the existing rail yard.
Swan River Pedestrian Bridge Project is a joint venture between York Rizzani. Visually stunning, the 370m long, nine meter-wide bridge will have a steel cable-stay span of 160m at its centre. This central structural arch and expressive apex rises 65 meters above the river to provide a focal point from distant vantage points, the city and Perth Stadium.

Team Caledonia entered a soccer tournament on site at Barrow Island – CKJV. They won every game this season and in the end won the tournament, winning 7-4 in the final

Real Men Wear Pink is a fundraising initiative of the National Breast Cancer Foundation which aims to challenge men and the community to fundraise for a great cause and pink up in recognition of the women in their lives.
We are getting on board with the NBCF campaign on site at the NRAH Project. Each Friday we aim to have all employees on site wear a Pink Shirt to help fundraise and support this cause.

Caledonia are proud to sponsor the Roadrunners Baseball and Softball Club Women’s Team in Whyalla and the Cumberland Foxes under 8 soccer team in Adelaide.
We supply the Roadrunners with uniforms and assisted in the purchase of a pitching machine, and we supply sponsorship to Cumberland Foxes for incidentals and training bibs.
In December 2013 our Regional Manager undertook on a voluntary basis the sketching, measurement, & photography of Dieri artefacts returned to the Dieri Aboriginal Corporation by Santos.
Caledonia Scaffolding also provided a mine spec 4 x 4 to transport additional members of the Dieri Aboriginal Community to the repatriation on Kudnari (Cooper Creek) Country near Moomba SA.
